SONET msg decode

I'm sure this is really simple and I've got a mental block or
something. I'm seeing lots of error messages that look thusly:

%SONET-4-ALARM: POS1/0/0: B3 BER exceeds threshold, TC alarm declared

I figured out what "B3" and "BER" mean, but the one that should be easy - TC
eludes me. Does anyone know?
