anyone who is using rancid (router config differ), may be
interested in 1.4 which can be had from here:

speed/cpu utilization has been improved, a few bugs fixed,
collection of redback and foundry switches (the foundry
stuff is a bit raw) have been added, and some formatting
has been cleaned up.
btw, for anyone who has been using rancid on solaris and
experienced rancid hanging while collecting bits from routers,
should install these two solaris (2.6) patches:
