RE: PA-T3 Adapter Installation

Actually it won't work if the adapter is a PA-T3. The PA-T3 can only handle
a full DS3 with the bandwidth parameter used to change the actual capcity.
The multi-channel T3 port adapter (PA-MC-T3) would work as described in
Andy's e-mail but it would not allow you to run a fractional DS3 between two
routers.

Chad

This may work:

controller T3 2/0
 clock source line
 t1 1 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12
 t1 2 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12
 t1 3 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12
 t1 4 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12
 t1 5 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12
 t1 6 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12
 t1 7 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12
 t1 8 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12
 t1 9 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12
 t1 10 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12
 t1 11 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12
 t1 12 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-12

interface to tell the DSU what channels to use? For example on a WIC-1DSU
half a T1 would be SERVICE-MODULE T1 TIMESLOTS 1-12. Is there an equivalent
for the PA-T3? The documentation I have reviewed only talks about the
bandwidth command.
