Very correct, you can end up doing proxy-arp for each destination.
This can cause severe performance problems on routers
as they spend all their time doing proxy-arp or arp instead
of forwarding packets.
It would be nice if cisco made it impossible to point static
routes out multidestination interfaces. It should be very easy
based upon cef adjencies, as that knows what is a point to point
interface versus multipoint, etc..
