RE: [nsp] 7206 HSSI interface resets

Well, keep in mind that "interface resets" don't represet hardware
resets, but rather the number of times that the line protocol had
to restart/renegotiate after a failure.

That may be causually related to "overloading" the router as far
as the number of "high-speed" interfaces, but if that's the case
you should also be seeing overruns & underruns, which are the
direct evidence of running out of bus bandwidth.

The interface resets may well represet periods when the processor
was stalled or maxed out long enough to let a line protocol fail,
but they could also reflect any number of other bugs.

As far as I know the "high-speed" interface limit is just a warning
that you have a situation where you're likely to run out of bus
bandwidth, the router will run fine as long as you don't actually
push the potetential bandwidth.

Anyway, I'd look hard at the other "show int" counters, you might
also try swapping which slot the offending card is in, the 7206
has two PCI busses and ideally bandwidth is distributed between
them.
