I have experienced the same issues using 12.0.9S, seemingly related to
removing ISL sub-interfaces on a fast ethernet port.

fixed by disabling and enabling the cef everytime.
Do you experience the same problem with this IOS? Is there a "more" stable
12.0 or 12.1 IOS version which you'd recommend?
