        Well, 3 BGP tables and a routing table maybe, 3 full routing tables with CEF
I assure you not; this would be the case if you were running MPLS.

        Anyway 128 megs for a router with full Internet routing table, three BGP
tables and CEF plus features is rather short... Memory is cheap enough to fill
in all the banks (256 megs in the case of the NPE-300/NSE-1 if I remember
correctly) and forget about the issue for a couple months.

        In the meantime, I'd suggest that you fall back to flow switching and watch
out the memory.
