If you have a fairly recent version you can load the tacacs+ daemon with a configuration switch to specify where to place the logs.
So specifying all the other options plus -l /var/adm/tacacs would place the logs in the /var/adm directory and into a file called tacacs.
Good luck,
Ian

Subject: [nsp] tacacs+ on Sun
Hello,
I have a tacacs+ server running, but the installation was done a long time
ago. I've managed to get it configured for authentication, but I can't find
the logs to check for authentication/authorisation errors ?
Does anyone knows where does the authentication/authorisation logs resites
in a complete installation of tacacs+ server on a SUN box ? Or how can the
logs be generated ?
Here's are the files that I have:
-rwx------ 1 root other 96600 Jan 10 2000 users_guide
-rwx------ 1 root other 6147 Jan 10 2000 tac_plus.1
-rwx------ 1 root other 1017736 Jan 10 2000 tac_plus
