Hi all,
Databits, parity and stopbits can be set with CLI
on an async line. They can also be set in the modem
S registers via the modemcap entry.
Anybody know the difference ?
When using databits, parity and stopbits, are the
setting configured in the modem automatically ?
Do we have two sets of parameters, one for modem
to modem and another one for modem to async
port, or is this the same ?
Finally, is this possible to configure an async line
to allow 7e1 and 8n1 connections ?
tx
