Hi,
Do you think it's feasible for a script to automatically update BGP route-maps
to change AS-path prepends to manage incoming traffic, and local preference
for outbound?
My idea is something that watches the traffic coming in different links and
if some links are heavily used, and others are light, login automatically
to the router, edit the route-map and soft-clear the session.
The decision could be made through Netflow data.
Too risky?
