I believe subinterfaces don't have proper interface counters to poll.

To get per vc statistics you need following mib (snippet from mailing list
archives)

    # Here is my contribution for this kind of monitoring:
    #
    # This could be not very clarified but could help.
    #
    # # tree to use .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.66
    # # add .1.1.1.1
    # # than comes .1 , .2 , .3 , .4 for each of this:
    # # cAal5VccInPkts, cAal5VccOutPkts, cAal5VccInOctets, cAal5VccOutOctets
    # # then add .n where n=number of this slot in the cisco router (0,1,2...)
    # # finally add .VPI.VCI (see in the router with the command "show atm vc")
    # # This only applies for Cisco`s 7500 and 7200 series. For the LS1010 you have
    # # other OID`s.
    #
    # Here`s an example:
    # ## ATM PVC 16/32 ##
    # 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.66.1.1.1.1.3.1.16.32 - cAal5VccInOctets
    # 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.66.1.1.1.1.4.1.16.32 - cAal5VccOutOctets
    #
    # ## ATM SVC 0/108 SERVER FARM ##
    # 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.66.1.1.1.1.3.1.0.108 - cAal5VccInOctets
    # 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.66.1.1.1.1.4.1.0.108 - cAal5VccOutOctets
    #
    # As always you could browse the mib to look for some interesting oid`s to
    # monitor.
    ---snipp---

we are currently polling per vc in and out bytes from 7206 ciscos with PA-A1
running 12.0S(14). The mib was broken somewhere in 12.0.S(12..13)

Greetings
Christian
