90%? Its a peice of cable with SCSI2 connectors on the end, just with a
different pinout than normal SCSI2, I am suprised they rate it at 90% of
cost. The cables were manufactured for Cisco by a third party supplier.
The cables themselves have a part number on them but cisco couldn't tell
me neither the supplier or the part number, but I at least tracked down
the part number.
The 3900/3920 token switches also use this module/cable. Also the
3900/3920/3200 all are still listed off cisco.com under switches, in the
current products section....which may just be in error.
I never did think Cisco's trade ins were any good. We bought a 3200, 3
WS-X3002's, and 4 WS-X3010's. We spent maybe $13k (this was 4 years ago).
We tried to trade in like a year later and cisco wanted to give us
$900.00.
