Suggestion/help needed...

Well here is go.
When I was swapping to a new 1601 router accidentally.
I only activates timeslot 24 ONLY.
needless to say, I had full T1 on the other end, it did not work.

Then I thought I can adjust this end to only timeslot 24.
interesting enough protocol and line are up.
Eariler line was up but not protocol.

There is a problem.
there is a static route statement pointed to s1/0/6:0
 ip route x.x.x.x.0 255.255.255.224 s1/0/6:0

and protocol up, never went down however,
 when type
show ip route x.x.x.x.1, it shows that belongs to ethernet and
prefering to class B network.

I thought as long as protocol is up, even if it can not pass data,
ie looped, it will still prefer s1/0/6:0.

Could anyone explain for me why that is not the case?
I believe the reason this 64K dataline does not work is because teleco
must changes its configuration...

Now this brings me another question, how I would know the line is
provisioned correctly? I see up/up I can not pass data and ...

TIA,

Tatsuya
