Thanks for that link - I haven't seen it before, but it's interesting.

The 2503 is EOLed, but the 2501 isn't - so the family itself *is* still
supported, only some hardware variants are not built anymore (which makes
sense if demand is really low).

Assuming integration of 12.2T into 12.3/13.0, and assuming availability of
this train at the end of this year / start of 2002, this leads to
interesting conclusions.
