Compared to GEIP, 100% gain on bandwidth that is useless for iMix-type traffic, 60% gain on processing power (packets/s) that is very handy to deal better with traffic or turn more IOS features on, cheaper memory expansion (doesn't require SRAM and DRAM, just the SDRAM), and a hard time trying to find a solid IOS that supports it. Most unhappiness with GEIP+ come from the IOS versions that run with it, not from GEIP+'s own misfortunes.
