The official statement from the IPv6 team was "as there was no 12.1T
train for the RSFC/RSM, they couldn't add IPv6 to it, and so there is
no 12.2T train either. Complain to your Cisco rep that you want
12.2T for the RSFC/RSM."

I did. For the last half year or so. To anybody who would listen (or
not), but they did not care too much.
