Hi.
Anyone know the secret of sending an rs-232 break from a cisco terminal
server that you are connected to via ssh?
When I telnet to the terminal server, and connect to a device on one of
its ports, I can send a break from my telnet program (I happen to use
teraterm, so I just select the menu option "Send Break"). THis sends
the rs232 break to the device on teh cisco terminal server, so if its a
router I can interupt its boot process, if its a sun, I can take it to
the 'ok' prompt.
However, when I ssh to the terminal server, I cannot seem to send a
break.
Anyone know a way around this?
Can I map a function from the terminal server command line, or
something?
TIA
