Hello Hassan,

You can define an snmp view. Ypu can exclude|include
particular MIB variables in the view. Those are not
included can not be accessed, thus can not be queried.

Subject: [nsp] High SNMP-CPU Utilization on 7500

We have multiple servers polling one of many DSL Service Distribution
boxes,
I have approx 1300 ISL sub-interfaces on one of those routers,
although I don't want to poll the 1300 ISL subinterfaces, all I'm
interested
in is the POS plus the main FE, is there anyway I can prevent the
box(router) from allowing servers to poll these sub-interfaces?
excluding
some MIBs/OIDs in the SNMP-view is what I'm looking for. my NMS Sever
doesn't allow me to put exceptions.

Appreciate any help.
Regards

SH
