You know what I should do? Don't stay up late and try to help people.
It doesn't work. (or only at the 3rd try :)

Serial0 doesn't fall into any OSPF areas so the cisco won't enable OSPF on
it. You see that when you do a show int ser0, and you can see that it
won't see neighbors when you do a sh ip ospf neigh.

Recently I moved some PM3's to another subnet, turned out they had
194.134.0.0/24 (our "server" subnet in Amsterdam) as area 0, so they broke
when they were moved to 194.134.122.0/24. Too bad you need to reboot and
kick off all the customers (a handful at 3 AM) for it to work with
3.7.2c3 (3.8b13 did fine, somehow).

Still I don't see the use for different areas. As far as I know it's not
possible to summarize routes between different areas and only announce the
summary upward, unless you make it a not-so-stubby area. Am I missing
something? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
