I use EIGRP and this works perfectly. Here is what I would do...
This in both routers....
router eigrp 1 (internal as)
reditribute static
redistribute connected
network 100.100.100.0 (this needs to be the first 3 octets of whatever
serial
address's you are using for the serial ports)
Then just have 2 default routes... i.e.
0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 serial0
0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 serial1
This should be all you need to make those two routers see each other and
pass traffic equally accross the pipes...
