Hi Preggie,

we use a M20 with 4-Port E1. We configured PPP on both ends and everything
works fine.
Did you check your converter ? In our network we use Pandacom boxes.

Hi Preggie,

which encapsulation (PPP, Cisco-HDLC) do you have configured ?

We had a problem with a Cisco with auto-encapsulation on the X.21 interface.

regards

Hi,

I've connected an M5 E1 G.703 (120 Ohm) interface to a G.703/X.21 converter
which is connected to a Cisco X.21 (high-density serial) interface. I'm
receiving an "Ino Framing errors, check FCS configuration" - I've changed
the configuration on the Juniper but to no avail - the Juniper is set-up for
unframed with internal clocking.

Please help !

Preggie
