The signed packages include MD5 checksums which are
validated by the installation procedures.

At the buttom of this link:
http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/junos51/swconfig51-routing/html/osp
f-overview6.html

It states "Each link-state advertisement type describes a portion of the
OSPF routing domain. All link-state advertisements are flooded throughout
the AS." Maybe the intent here is to say that within each area/domain there
are specific LSA's flooded but to say that All LSA are flooded throughout
the AS is incorrect / misleading if the intent was otherwise.

My second question is in regards to downloading release 5.2. I notice a new
link appears under the Install Package. The new link reads "Signed Version"
and it has a link to download the filename
jinstall-5.2R1.4-domestic-signed.tgz. Can someone explain to me what is the
difference between the Signed Version and just clicking on the Install
package itself is?

Thanks!

JunoGuy
