Scott,

I was referring to the ability to inject specifics that are not in the
routing table. This is available in Cisco IOS.

> Yes, they do.  But, if the more specifics aren't in your routing table you can't advertise them to your upstreams.  As someone previously mentioned, either the downstream customer announces the more specifics or you create them with a null route.  But the null route will show a different origination ASN than the customer's.
