Thanks Andhy.

Please another question . needed to confirm if this config will work for a
client that requires a clear channel STM1 internet access.

Hi,
First of all, you should use the MDA that support VPRN services, MDA CES
can not support L3 VPN services.
The config is like this for STM-1 SDH technology :

A:CORE# configure port 3/2/1
	description "Channelized_STM-1_Interworking_DXC"
        sonet-sdh
framing sdh -> encap the port with sdh and
not sonet
            path sts3
                no shutdown
            exit
            group tug3-1 payload vt2  -> channelised with E1/VC-12

	tdm
            e1 1.1.1			-> create subinterface with KLM
1.1.1
                framing no-crc-g704
                channel-group 1
                    encap-type cisco-hdlc
timeslots 2-17	-> remember ALU SR start with ts
2
                    cisco-hdlc
                    exit
                    no shutdown
                exit

A:CORE>config# service vprn 184

            interface "to-test" create
                address 192.168.65.21/30
                sap 3/2/1.1.1.1.1 create
                    collect-stats
                    accounting-policy 11
                exit
            exit
            no shutdown

I encapsulated the sub interface channel-group 1 with cisco-hdlc because
the customer is using cisco router.
Hope this help.
Thanks
Regards,
andhi

Hi,

What is the correct encapsulation when configuring SAP on an OC3/Stm1
interface inside VPRN. I attempted creating a SAP in my VPRN logical
interface but get the SAP-Id and encapsulation error .

Kind Regards,
Fox2beer
