[alcatel-nsp] OSPF ABR Type 3 LSA Filtering

Config>router>ospf>area <"non-zero"> > area-range 172.10.0.0/16 advertise

This will of course summarize 172.10 routes in area non-zero, which this ABR will then advertise into Area 0, where all other ABRs will receive and advertise that same type 3 LSA into their non-area 0 areas.

So, the summarization is done in the ABR connected to the non-zero area containing the prefixes you wish to summarize.

I don't know any other way to accomplish this.

Subject: [alcatel-nsp] OSPF ABR Type 3 LSA Filtering

Hi all,

I want to filter all of /30 prefix in ABR from advertised from area 0 to non-area0. But i cannt figure how to do it.

in cisco, the config is something like:
router ospf ...
 area 100 filter-list prefix NO30 in
 ip prefix-list NO30 seq 10 deny 0.0.0.0/0 ge 30 le 30

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/iproute_ospf/configuration/15-mt/iro-15-mt-book/iro-abr-type-3.html
