There is no problem in this type of upgrade as long as you are not using any kind of "persistence" (such as dhcp persistence or subscriber management). Since you are currently running 3.0R9, I highly doubt this will be the case.<br>
<br> In any case, as a general note, if you do have configuration requiring "persistence", then you should power down the node and copy the persistence file to the new CF before power-up. Another option is to put the new CF in a secondary slot (as CF1 or CF2) and tell the router to save the persistence information to this new card. You should be able then to swap the cards when the node is powered down and reboot.<br>
