[a-nsp] Weird L1 issue ...

Interesting, but alas .... no change.

Tried both
	error-correction encoding reed-solomon
and
	error-correction encoding fire-code

I wish the Mellanox were a little more useful from a diagnostic 
standpoint. If I could see what IT'S doing, it may give me a clue since 
it works fine.

... very odd.
