4KC filter problems

I've noticed the 4KC problem discussed recently and wanted to share my
recent finding. In replacing the C-553 filter killer cap in my EAC,  I
noticed that my 4KC filter had been replaced.  I have 3 round emblem
Collins filters and 1 blue 4KCs Freimuth Industries filter.

Could this be a common failure in '390As for some reason?  Maybe this is
just a coincedence.
