Yes it is indeed a very good radio, the first really good SWL
receiver I ever had.
The stock AM filter is 5 kHz wide in the SB-310. The optional
AM filter sold for the ham coverage rigs was 3.75 kHz. A useful mod
for SWL DXers is to get the 3.75 installed in the rx in place of or in
addition to the 5 kHz one.
