FS: SX-101A Hallicrafters Receiver

Hi,

I've collected too many projects over the past 20+ years and time to
reduce the collection.  This receiver is too big and heavy!  so....it's the
first item on the list to go.  It has been in warm and dry storage for 20+
years and will clean up to excellent+ condition.  It's just dirty/dusty...no
nicotine.  It works but i suspect it needs either new tubes or an alignment.
The "S" meter just doesn't seem to read as high as I would expect it to on
loud signals. I have the original manual with it.  The cabinet has original
paint with no scratches, dents, or rust.  I haven't seen many of these
receivers that haven't had the cabinets repainted.  Anyway, i'd prefer local
pick up or will meet someone up to 100 miles from Boston, MA. $125.00
