Determining age of Simpson 260 meter?

The series number shown on the meter face,  IE:   Series 6,  etc. The
higher the number the later,and newer, the version of the 260. I'm not
sure which is the latest but I have a series 6. I don't think they're
any longer in production, but I'm not certain of that.
