Info on HT-40

Hi Bob - I am taking the liberty of answering your message here, AND
In the TEMPE BOATANCHORS list (which you should subscribe to also!!)

The HT40 is a GREAT little rig. You will really like it a lot. It is
kind of equivalent to the Heath DX-60

I really like the cabinet and paint job on the Halli HT-40 a LOT!

Also, I think it will work 6 meters which is a great band for AM on
50.4 MHz. An added bonus with the HT-40.

Trying to find my old ARRL Handbook from around 1963 when these were
popular. Best I remember is that the matching receiver is the SX-140
which is the same size as the HT-40 and ALSO looks "great" to me!

BTW - what a GREAT callsign, AC5AM!
