Bob,
As Bry has mentioned, the HT-40 is a nice looking rig. It goes
without saying that the receiver is the other half of the 'twins'. It
contains 5 tubes plus 2 Silicon Rectifiers and covers 80 through 10, plus
6 meters. The tube compliment is as follows:
[1] 6AZ8 - RF Amplifier, Crystal Marker
[1] 6U8A - Mixer, Oscillator
[1] 6BA6 - IF Amplifier
[1] 6T8A - AVC, det, ANL, 1st Audio Amplifier
[1] 6AW8A - Carrier Level Meter, Amplifier, Audio Output
It weights 13.5 pounds, and as I said - it matches the HT-40. I
picked up my pair over a year ago, and have yet had the time to get them
on the air. Maybe after the basement is finished I will get to them.
Ciao!
