Greetings.
DO NOT post multiple messages when selling gear. This is a strain on the
list server and just plane thoughtless to those who have limited resources.
Let me explain what happens.
First, let's say I send 10 messages to a list for 700 people on it. Instead
of 700 messages going through the system there are now 7000. If 15 of those
people are no longer on-line (bad address) I get 150 error messages instead
of 15. And, there are those who are on Hotmail, AOL, and Juno that have set
mailbox limits. Once their limits are passed they no longer get ANY e-mail
from anyone until they clear out some messages. Who cares you say? They
might be the one who leaves the list because they can't handle the
messages..but would have bought your stuff. Oh yes, when their mail box
fills up I again start getting error messages for each and every message.
DON'T DO THIS!!
