Chirpy Viking Ranger

Tho I've never had this problem with my Ranger, I've heard (a lot) that
the 20K (or 22K>  can't recall) high-ish wattage resistor in the VFO is
a drift 'culprit'--replace with a like-wattage metal oxide or wirewound.
