Gentlemen.

Thanks much for all the replies.  I think I'll go with the 3 line plug, and
check for proper isolation of the chasis.  and last but certainly not least...
avoid taking baths with my radios.  ;).   I think I paid $5 bucks for this thing
at a swap meet about 6 or 7 years ago.    With the exception of the knobs and it
trying to bite me, it's a nice looking/operating radio.   Again thanks for all
the help.
