Another Chippewa located

If anyone is in the market for a Chippewa, Radio Recyclers
in Milwaukee has one.  It is in very nice cosmetic shape.
I couldn't fire it up of course but it seems to be completly free of mods.  He wants $699.00 for it with
the power supply.  Sitting next to it is an Apache.  I
believe he wants $225.00 for it.  Neal is the kind of guy
who thinks if you don't dicker on the price there's
something wrong with you.  Also saw 2 SP600's, one in
super nice shape with a nicely made wooden cabinet.
I only live a few blocks from there but I should know better than to walk it.  I didn't intend to buy anything,
I only wanted to get the latest issue of Electric Radio
at Amatuer Radio Supply next door.  Well I found a mint
Radiola 18 with the matching speaker and after dickering
the price down I ended up carrying it home.  Did you ever
notice that old radios double thier weight every 100 yards?  I can now scratch the bottoms of my feet while standing straight.
I guess I should mention, Neal says he -will not- ship
the Chippewa.  If I didn't already have one I'd buy it myself.
