microphones

i am putting my dx-100 and dx-40 on am
and need to know the following:
1. what size of mic plug is the dx-100 ?
2. what is the best type,crystal,dynamic,ceramic etc
     to go with the above equipment ?
3. is there a way to tell the impedence of a microphone ?
    (have several no markings)
4. where can i get a microphone plug for the dx-40 ?
