NC-300 MODS

Hi Al:

The best round up of NC-300 modifications was done by K0EEO in the
September 1992 issue of Electric Radio. Dennis looked at all the
previous mods, tried most, and put it together in an article. I've done
most of the changes, in my 300, and found them worth doing.  For some
interesting background on the receiver and the designer, you may want to
look at the article I wrote in the August 1990 issue of ER. Don't be
confused by the call, it was KU1R back then.  Decided to return to this
one when the rules allowed.
