Greetings Fellow Devotees of the Heavy Stuff:

A friend of my son's (is that far enough removed?!!!) who is getting
back on the air after a long absence is looking for a starter rig.  I'm
not familiar with any of the three he'd prefer, so I hope they're heavy
enough and/or have enough tubes or whatever to qualify for this list:

Yaesu 101EX

Kenwood 520
