How to adjust Hammarlund Clock

A friend just picked up an HQ-170 in nice shape but can't figure out how to adjust the clock.  It's been years since I've owned one an HQ-170, but my recollection is that there was an adjustment either out the front or out the back of the clock that you either push in or pull out.

Can anyone square me away on this?  My friend doesn't want to screw up the clock by mishandling it.
