here are two other places from the past......

polypaks where you could get 3 Geiger Mueller tubes for a buck, or a bag full of
weird value pricesion resistors for a buck!


then... there was cornell tubes that sold radio tubes old surplus who knows that
were re-boxed and for only 33 cents each!

ah the times of youth!

best scrounging places for me in palos verdes Calif. were the nike radar site at
the dead end of crenshaw, engineers and hams around the neighborhood, and for
sundrys such as wire carbon microphones etc.  the GTE installation yard trash
barrels....
