Sweap tubes

Don't blame the CBers. They did not run the price of the tubes up. There
were not that many used in CB linears, most were solid state.

What did was when the "golden eared" audio amplifier crowd decided
that the sweep tubes would make good audio tubes.  All of a sudden,
the tubes jumped from about $10 each to $40 each. Some varieties
actually sell for about $100 each.

It is my opinion that those people are like the Collins collectors, and
have too much money to spend.
