Help! Low audio on Johnson Ranger

Hi,

Last night my Ranger lost audio. I can hear something very light if I
monitor my signal on the receiver and only if I put the audio gain all the
way up. It puts out full output as a carrier, but no audio.
I have checked the tubes in the audio section, and even substituted a
couple just to make sure, but all check out good.
I also changed mic's to eliminate that.

Any thoughts on what to check first would be very welcome.
