Not only is 30 meters a great place for QRP (lotsa Europeans use it
for that purpose) but the very common 5.0688 MHz computer xtal
(purchaseable for $0.50 to $1.00 each) is a perfect xtal to double
to 10.1376 Mhz for the 30 meter band! What say? Anyone game to try
10.1376 MHz for BA/GB? I have my xtal ready and I'll wager I can get
my Heath AT-1 to work on it! (might have to pad the 40 meter coil
with a air variable).
