RAL-7 info/parts???

Howdy gang,
        First, wanted to know (from you Navy gear buffs out there)  when was the
RCA RAK-7/RAL-7 receiver first designed and built?  It l;ooks very early 1930ish
to me.
        Second, I am looking for an RAL-7 Nameplate or good replica thereof
from a junker.  Any out there.  For some reason, someone swiped the
nameplate from this set!
        I'm busy cleaning it up and hoping to take out a hum in it soon.
        Interesting receiver!
