FS: Hallicrafters S-36A or part out

This is one of those receivers that is kind of a mystery to me -- in that
very little value is placed on it.  It's of historical interest, impressive
looking, well built and extrememly rugged, and seems to work
reasonably well.  And an era and appearance companion to the
SX-28.  Doesn't cover the whole 2-meter band  -- but that's probably a
plus :-)

Yet, there's not much of a collector's interest in them.  I purchased
one last year in really pretty shape for about the same price.  It's still
in my "restore" queue (although aside from some minor work there's
not much to do).  Seems to me to be a nifty receiver, which will also
serve as an effective anchor to hold my house to the ground in a high
wind :-)
