Shelled coming events for the CC-AWA.


        October 23, 1999, Saturday

        CC-AWA Fall Swap Meet

        City Lake Park, Jamestown, NC near Greensboro
        602 W. MAIN ST.

    Same location as last year - thanks to rave reviews from everyone who
attended.  Set up indoors (covered loading area) or in the parking lot
outside.  Bring the family - playground and picnic facilities available, as

well as fishing and boat rentals.  Toss a Zenith and the fishing pole in
the
car and come on!  Adults require a fishing license, kids do not.  No tables

or chairs available so bring your own.

    TO GET THERE FROM CHARLOTTE:
    Head north on I-85 to Greensboro.
    Take the Holden Road exit (#121) (long exit ramp).
    Turn left across the highway, north on Holden.
    At High Point Rd., turn left.
    Go 7 miles, look for City Lake Park on the right.

    TO GET THERE FROM RALEIGH:
    Head west on I-40.
    Take the High Point Rd. exit (#217).
    Turn left on High Point Rd.
    Go 7.5 miles, look for City Lake Park on the right.

    TO GET THERE FROM ROANOKE:
    Head south on 220.
    It will turn into Battleground Ave...follow to Wendover Ave.
    Take Wendover Ave. east to I-40.
    Take I-40 east to High Point Rd.
    Turn right on High Point Rd.
    Go 7.5 miles, look for City Lake Park on the right.

    Park opens at 7 AM - no need to get there before that time.  Meet lasts

until noon.  The park is open all day.  There is a $7 dollar charge to set
up
- no charge to shop.
