The libraries around here (Montgomery County Maryland)  are too messed up to
take donations of anything like that. They would likely throw them away after a
while anyway! We had good books to donate, but they say they don't have the
time or funds to take care of adding free books. Insanity.

Considering that this is one of the highest taxed counties in one of the
highest taxed states in the country you would think these bozos could get it
together!
