BA Folks:
(If you followed the thread on receiver radiation,
you'll want to see the photos)
This is a paint problem.
I have a nice Navy REO entertainment radio.
It sits at my radio position.
The problem is the paint on the top of the wooden cabinet.
The paint on the front is fine, and the "ding" on the
upper left corner is OK with me, but the paint on the
top is cracked and chipping away.
I've found that the paint chips will desolve in
"Cutex" "Protein Enriched" fingernail polish remover.
I can spread it and it will dry hard again.
Can one of you more-educated folks tell me if there
are any "gotchas" in using this product to desolve
the paint chips and re-paint the cabinet with the solution?
Help, Barry ;-).
